Yippee! New website launched and its a success! Now I need to get busy making pretty things for the holiday season. Luckily it's grey and rainy outside so it's easy to stay indoors.
using reclaimed fabric, Stephanie Menard creates unique household items such as tea, french press, and cup cozies, as well as wearable art in the form of lapel pins and fingerless gloves and jewellery. Known as 'Fibre Manipulator', Stephanie also fashions fibre sculptures including her custom made portrait dolls — excellent gifts for people with everything. She has been selling her work at local craft fairs and cultural events, including the YLFMS Farmer's Markets, since 2004. In addition to her work with fabric,Stephanie paints in-home murals, as well as more traditional canvas works, and is available for private commissions.
